We are open - safety is our top priority!
At Dental Specialty Center of Fort Myers, we pride ourselves on providing specialized dentistry services. We have a spacious office equipped with digital radiography, a cone beam CT scanner, intraoral cameras, and a centrifuge to allow us to perform a wide range of endodontic, periodontic, and oral surgery procedures. The fact that we have so many licensed dental specialists in one location makes it convenient to get the coordinated care that you need to restore the health of your teeth and gums.
Our practice, which opened in 2013, is conveniently located at 7011 Cypress Terrace, Suite 101, Fort Myers, FL 33907. You will find our office across the street from Barnes and Noble and accessible by public transportation. Our normal office hours are on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Since we are a specialty clinic, we ask that you contact us for an appointment and have a referral from your primary dentist.
Our dentists are committed to making quality dental care accessible to as many people as possible. For example, we have bilingual staff to accommodate Spanish-speaking patients. We are also able to accommodate patients with special needs and children as young as 9 years old. We will go to great lengths to ensure that your visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible by providing televisions in each exam room to help you relax and by offering nitrous oxide and IV sedation to keep you comfortable during your procedure.
We want you to be comfortable with your dental treatment choices. Our staff will take the time to explain your treatment options clearly and completely so that you understand the procedure, and we are always happy to answer any questions that you may have. We also utilize an electronic records system, which enables us to share your treatment information and progress with your primary dentist to ensure continuity of care.
Our endodontic services are designed to treat conditions involving the soft tissue inside the tooth. In cases where the pulp becomes infected, a root canal, pulpotomy, pulpectomy, or root canal retreatment may help preserve the tooth and alleviate pain.
Some of the most common procedures performed by our oral and maxillofacial surgeon include complex tooth extractions, correction of temporomandibular disorders, and the diagnosis of oral cancer. For patients with tooth loss who want a permanent alternative to traditional dentures, we offer a variety of dental implant options, including single implants, mini implants, and All-on-4® implants.
Our licensed periodontist specializes in the treatment of conditions affecting the gums using a wide range of periodontal surgical procedures, including soft tissue grafting, gum graft surgery, and crown lengthening. Call us today at (239) 243-9002 or request an appointment online.
If you have private or employer-sponsored dental insurance, your treatment may be covered. We accept many nationally known providers, including Anthem (BCBS), Delta, Principal, and United Concordia. Our team will work with you and your insurer to find appropriate treatment options that provide you with the maximum coverage possible. In most cases, we can even file the claim on your behalf, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork. Call today to find out if we accept your dental plan.
Of course, it is possible that you may have expenses that are not covered by your insurance plan. We also offer payment options and financing options through CareCredit and LendingClub. These plans allow qualified patients to pay for their treatment in affordable monthly installments. Speak with one of our staff today to find out if you qualify.
To reduce the cost of your treatment even further, you may want to consider enrolling in the DentRite® dental discount plan. As a DentRite® member, you pay a low annual fee in exchange for substantial discounts on exams, cleanings, fillings, and other routine and preventative dental procedures. You can even combine your discount with your insurance benefits.
