Alfonso Salcines, DMD, MD

Dr. Alfonso Salcines, DMD, MD is a highly trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon dedicated to providing advanced surgical care with a patient-centered approach. A Miami native and proud University of Miami alumnus, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and later completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He went on to complete a rigorous six-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Salcines has extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, pathology, and sedation. He further refined his expertise through an advanced fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implant Surgery before returning to South Florida to serve the community he calls home.

Known for his compassionate demeanor and ability to help patients feel at ease, Dr. Salcines takes pride in building strong relationships with his patients through clear communication, personalized treatment plans, and exceptional surgical care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he enjoys connecting with the diverse South Florida community and helping patients achieve improved oral health, function, and confidence.

Outside of the office, Dr. Salcines enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and maintains affiliations with several leading hospitals throughout Florida.
